Many Ada and Canyon County local governments post comprehensive plans and land use regulations on their web sites. COMPASS also has copies of these documents in its library.
The Blueprint for Good Growth project represents an unprecedented attempt to link land use and transportation planning and create a future Ada County that will be a place where today's residents want to stay and where tomorrow's residents will want to come. The idea is to map out where and when growth should occur, and how services - police, ?re, education and transportation - will be provided. This project, sponsored by a consortium of Ada County governments is being coordinated with Communities in Motion, the regional long-range transportation plan project.
