Air Quality Conformity Demonstrations

When COMPASS develops or updates the regional long-range transportation plan (Communities in Motion) or the Regional Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), it is required to demonstrate that the transportation projects funded via these plans will not degrade air quality in the Treasure Valley. This is referred to as an “air quality conformity demonstration.” Learn more.

DRAFT Air Quality Conformity Demonstration for Northern Ada County for Communities in Motion 2040 2.0, DRAFT regional long-range transportation plan

This document contains the estimated air quality impacts associated with DRAFT Communities in Motion 2040 2.0. It also contains an emissions budget test for the purposes of demonstrating air quality conformity as per federal requirements. The estimated impacts demonstrate that the projects contained in Communities in Motion 2040 2.0 meet air quality conformity requirements for Northern Ada County.

This document contains the estimated air quality impacts associated with the FY2019-2023 northern Ada County Transportation Improvement Program. It also contains an emissions budget test for the purposes of demonstrating air quality conformity as per federal requirements. The estimated impacts demonstrate that the projects contained in the FY2019-2023 northern Ada County Transportation Improvement Program meet air quality conformity requirements for northern Ada County and will not degrade air quality.
