2015 Agricultural Freight Study
Agriculture is one of the primary economic drivers in the region, particularly in Canyon County. To better understand the transportation needs of agricultural freight, including which corridors are being used to transport goods and what equipment is being used, COMPASS conducted a study of agricultural freight movements in and around Ada and Canyon Counties in 2014/2015. The study identified corridors that may need more frequent maintenance or other improvements to accommodate the needs of agricultural freight and related farm equipment.
